Motorama's Response to COVID-19:

As we are all aware right now, Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having a significant impact in parts of Australia, and the world.

We want to reassure you that we have a proactive & practical approach to addressing concerns about this issue. Our highest priority is the health and wellbeing of our guests, and our employees.

We are placing the highest priority on health & hygiene. Our approach, is that a sanitised car, is a healthy car - we have implemented a number of protocols in both our sales and service departments in line with Queensland Government recommendations & industry best practice, including social distancing. We have an endorsed COVID Safe Plan in place at each of our locations.

Below we’ve answered some commonly asked questions for those of you who have an upcoming vehicle service, or are in the market to purchase a vehicle.

We want to reassure you that we are open for business, and that you can expect to receive the same friendly, helpful and caring guest experience that you always receive at Motorama.

Kind regards,

Mark Woelders | Managing Director

What should I do if I have a service booking?

Our Service Departments are business as usual. We have subsequently adopted the use of MEDIMAX Antibacterial agents into our servicing procedure on;
  • Door handles
  • Interior trim
  • Steering wheel
  • Gear lever
  • Any other high touch points
Your car will also be sanitised on arrival and then sanitised again prior to collection after your service.

What should I do if I want to buy or trade a car?

Our Sales Teams are continuing to operate.

We have now introduced Motorama Home Drive, a concept where our team will bring the car to you for a test drive in the convenience of your own home, or at your workplace.

We also have the option to reserve a car online with Motorama Home Drive, and can facilitate the complete transaction online, including the delivery to your home or office.

Motorama Home Drive

To ensure optimum hygiene practices, every car used for a test drive will undergo our strict sanitisation protocols with the above mentioned MEDIMAX Anti bacterial agents.

Now even safer with regular Deep Cleaning

At Motorama, we are taking extra precautions for the health of both our guests and team during this time. As you enter our dealerships, you will notice a few changes have taken place.

We have implemented a number of initiatives including;

  • Post service vehicle sanitisation
  • Contact-free procedures when handling your vehicle keys,
  • Multiple hand-sanitasation stations,
  • Use of Medi-Max anti-bacterial agents on all high touch point area's
  • No hand-shake policy
  • Social Distancing

We have now taken an additional step by introducing a regular deep clean process.

Delivered via a fogging machine, this sprays a fine protective mist that leaves all surfaces hygienic for up to 28 days. This disinfectant, meets all TGA guidelines, and the chemicals used, whilst protecting all guests and surfaces from COVID contamination, are safe for everyone to be in contact with.

This extra precaution is in place to keep everyone in our dealerships safe, and provide you with additional peace of mind when visiting our stores.

What is the best way to keep up to date?

We thank you for your continued support during this unprecedented time.

Motorama | A local, family owned & operated business

The Motorama Group have been a Queensland icon for over 60 years. The business came from humble beginnings in 1960 as a BP service station down the Gold Coast, that Jan Woelders started to help people with their motoring needs. The group has since expanded to become one of Queensland’s largest family owned automotive retailers, with multi-franchise dealerships across the southside of Brisbane.

The Motorama Group employs over 500 locals in & across South East Queensland. We are continuing to operate during this unprecedented time to provide automotive service and sales. We are taking our position as a community role model very seriously, and actively practicing social distancing & strict hygiene standard across all departments.

As a company, we are actively living our values of 'team work' and 'care', by making steps to try and maintain employment to all employee's through this time.

Your continued support of the Motorama business at this time genuinely is appreciated.
